Eating colorful food made easy
Children love colors, stories, and games. Little Rainbow Muncher combines all of these.
Our strategy is based on the Eat-the-Rainbow principle : the more diverse the colors on the plate, the more diverse the spectrum of nutrients that can support the body in its functions as part of a balanced diet.
Each color represents different plant protective substances. In their natural combination – that is, as a diversity and not as individual isolated substances – they play an important role in growth, development and well-being.
Little Rainbow Muncher makes these connections visible and understandable for children. Collecting colors becomes a game, eating a journey of discovery. A balanced diet is not an overwhelming task but an invitation.
At the same time, the concept incorporates findings from nutritional and developmental psychology: A relaxed approach to food is associated with better self-awareness, more self-regulation and a more positive eating behavior.
Little Rainbow Muncher translates knowledge into everyday family life – playfully, practically and without pressure.
Instead of rigid rules, rituals emerge; instead of control, curiosity.
What's included in the set?
Based on the Eat-the-Rainbow principle, we have developed a well-thought-out set that appeals to children and parents alike – playful for the former, and informative for the latter.
The set consists of:
- a rainbow made of magnetic foil for the refrigerator
- colored magnets , with which the eaten colors are collected and moved around
- a quick guide
- 6 cards with fruits and vegetables in the colors of the rainbow
- a superpowers map for children that explains the meaning of the colors simply and in a child-friendly way
- an accompanying parent booklet that offers background information, context and suggestions for everyday life
This creates a shared ritual in everyday family life: children experience eating as a game and a journey of discovery, parents retain their bearings without having to constantly explain or correct.
The set is designed for easy integration – without preparation, without additional rules and without performance pressure.
